Nana Kofi Oppong III
Chairman
Nana Kofi Oppong III serves as the Chairman of the Governing Board of Nhyira Charities Foundation, bringing to the Foundation a rare blend of traditional leadership, wisdom, and modern governance. As the Chief of Atimatim in Kumasi, Nana embodies the values of service, unity, and compassion that define both chieftaincy and humanitarian work
Raymond Bidema, Esq
Vice Chairman
Raymond Bidema, Esq. serves as the Vice Chairman of the Governing Board of Nhyira Charities Foundation, bringing to the Board a wealth of legal expertise, academic insight, and public-sector experience. A distinguished lawyer and law lecturer, he is widely respected for his commitment to justice, legal education, and ethical leadership.
H.E. Mahama Abudu
Board Member
As a medical doctor at Assin Fosu Hospital, Mahama brings firsthand experience in healthcare delivery and community health needs. His medical background will strengthen the Foundation’s health-focused initiatives, outreach programs, and preventive health education, ensuring they are impactful and responsive to real community challenges.
Mr. Malik Aminu
Board Member
With his strong background in entrepreneurship, operations, and resource management, Mr. Aminu brings valuable business management expertise to the Board of Nhyira Charities Foundation. His practical knowledge will support youth empowerment initiatives, particularly in entrepreneurship training, skills development, and sustainable livelihoods.
Stephen Sarfo
Board Member
Stephen Sarfo is a sports journalist based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with a strong passion for humanitarian service and community development. He previously served as Relationship Manager of Nhyira Charities Foundation, where he strengthened stakeholder engagement, built strategic partnerships, and enhanced the foundation’s visibility. In recognition of his dedication and contributions, he was appointed a Board Member and continues to support the foundation’s mission and vision.
MR.SAMUEL TIEKU
Board Member
Mr. Samuel Tieku is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in media management and strategic communication. He currently serves as Media Relations Officer to the Ahafo Regional Minister and is the Immediate Past General Manager of Unity Media, which oversees Light FM, Light TV, Vision 1 FM, and Bechem FM. His expertise in media relations and leadership is expected to strengthen the visibility and advocacy efforts of Nhyira Charities Foundation.
